I love chili pasta!
We sometimes make chili spaghetti the first night - onion and cheese on top - then the following nights, we make it with small pasta, as you describe.
I don't have crackers these days, and don't eat butter anymore, but that would be great with it. I used to eat that combination - delicious.
Salad is excellent with it, as well.
Btw, I found a bottled salad dressing that I can eat, it's lemon and chive. I think that it would be good in the pan when cooking chicken, too.
