I was rooting around online, at some of my sale places, because I'd gotten sale emails, and I knew that Ds needed to buy mayonnaise. (I don't judge, even though it wouldn't be my cup of tea. He can't eat other condiments, or use vinegar, so to save his sanity, and make sandwiches worth eating for him, not to mention making potato salad and pasta salad do-able for him, he uses it. Especially with his tuna/canned chicken.)
He's been needing to, but I wanted to get him a better price, and this was my opportunity.
First, this site has free shipping above a certain amount of money spent. Second, their every day price can be less than Amazon sometimes. Third, there was an online coupon. So, the jar was 16% off, but with entering a code, I got another, additional, 15% off. Yeah!
So, while looking, I checked out other items on sale and with coupons. In the end, I spent more than I wanted to, because it came out to quite a bit less, on paper towels, hand soap, non-bleach bleach? It's 7th Generation, so we'll see, and a few more items, all on sale or with coupons.
Then, just as I was about to leave, I saw a sale on my old flat bread, my fave. I'd had to stop eating it when they changed the recipe.
I don't know what made me look, but the recipe has changed again! There's technically nothing in it that I can't eat, unless their tartar has too much sulfite in it, then I won't be able to eat it, as it will give me a migraine.
I couldn't get hold of Ds, so got him a box of each. What I bought was the bread mix, which is what I use for my flat bread, and the onion and garlic bread sticks.
I'm not sure if this is going to work, but I'm hoping so.
I also am going to try an Annie's salad dressing. I can't eat most anymore, but this was a sale plus a coupon, so I paid very little for the bottle. It's a new flavor since I used to eat their dressings sometimes.
Also, I can't get Dh's granola bars anymore. They are a no-go at Amazon. They had some boxes there, so I grabbed them. He eats one box a week - there are 5 bars per box. They retail for over $5. a box, but were on sale for 2-something. Then, I got 15% off of that price. I love a good sale! :-)
Anyway, hopefully I can eat the flour now again, as well as the salad dressing (not super important, but just nice to have a made dressing, sometimes. Especially when there's hot, fresh flatbread to dip into it!) Oh, and the orange hand soap.
