My little stew story is in the post below this one. It was good, but forgetting the celery, really? Ack! At least it's cooked, and can be added, but still!
We mostly ate leftovers last week. I do want to make a couple more things for the freezer this week, so I will be busy early. I'm talking 6 or 7. Personally, I'd cook at 3-5 A.M. but Dh doesn't want to think about messing up the schedule that he's trying to get/stay on, and I don't blame him, so 6/7 it is!
I ate my weight in carrots when I cooked them. I pan sautéed them in light olive oil with salt, and when they were softening, kept going.
When I was done, they were brown, and almost candied, but not in a sweet way, if that even makes sense.
They were delicious!
