That's what I know for Dh, also. Some snacks aren't going to cut it for weight gain.
I feel the same about Tilde. It seems like she should be 2 or 3, but she's only a year younger than Charlie.
That sounds delicious! I use EVOO rarely, compared to light olive oil. I'm sure that it's healthier, but...!
The BLT's sound excellent!
Was the chicken Kiev a good version?
Ds started buying spaghetti sauce in jars. They were decent, he said, but about a month ago, he got discouraged because everything that he makes has been disagreeing w/ ddil. Finally, I told him that he had 2 choices...either she is pregnant, or he has to go back to making his own tomato-based meals from scratch.
Well, he did, and she is up to eating low tomato-based meals without getting sick again. We just don't know the problem. He was buying various brands, and the ingredient list seemed fine... Maybe pregnant after all?
Good sounding breakfasts. A chef, in fact, and iron chef (from the old series.) was asked what he gave his children when he had to rush breakfast.
He replied that he didn't rush breakfast with his 3 children, as it was the most important meal of the day.
So, the person asking sort of challenged him, asking what they'd had that morning, and he said tacos. They were shocked into speechlessness, whereas I was pretty much fist pumping, lol!
Me, too, re: asparagus and green beans.
I used to eat BB, also. I get albacore, too. That sounds delicious.
Also good are creamy salad dressings in place of the mayonnaise, and tartar sauce in place of it, too. Which, you almost made! Tasty!
It would be strange if she got pregnant after all of this time. Here's hoping it's just plain old weight gain.
I am worried about the water. We were able to run the small generator for a short time, which gave us water - which we were very careful with, and always are - for a few days.
But, last night, it ran out. I spoke to Ds on the phone, and he's convinced that it's the piping, and thinks that the problem will partway be fixed when he puts poly pipe...which we bought a long while ago...up to the tanks, then to here.
But, neither he, nor Dh, will be able to move that piping right now. So, I asked what it would take to get the guy that used to help to give us an hour, or whatever it takes, to get the piping up to the tanks.
If I could give him a few dollars to do that, then all that Ds would need to do, would be connect the ends, which he says isn't difficult or time consuming.
In any case, I have drinking water...though that needs refilling coming up...but, no washing water, nor enough for the dog, cats, hens, heck...even the polliwogs :-( nor enough for bathing, washing dishes to cook and eat, or for the plants, such as the baby apple trees, etc. etc.
Being low, or out of water, puts me into major stress mode. Ack!
Well, speaking of food, it's nearly pill time! Have a great day!
