I spread PNB on the heels. Added a bunch of Cheddar cheese... then put under broiler.
I like my cheese sorta crusty. Once done to my liking I cut in triangles or quarters. Not bad at all.
Also I made pork fried rice using two thin cut pork chops. I fried them with s&p in olive oil.
Let them cool then diced.
I have a wok so added some oil and added diced carrots (canned), 2 frozen romas smushed, onion, cut green beans, corn niblets off 1/4 a cob, garlic to taste, soy sauce once the veggies were cooked added cooked rice stirred well till rice mixed in. Added diced pork.
Often I add a touch of Sesame seed oil but this time did not.
I had a good sized bowl and it was good.
I add the tomatoes as my favorite recipe includes one. It is in a Chinese cookbook. No celery - forgot and had no beans sprouts... have not been able to buy any at grocery or on line. Sometimes I add water chestnuts - also not available. Bamboo shoots are not to my liking. Though I do have cans of chow mein noodles. Maybe add a few.
I also use canned shrimp instead of pork. I like that better but the shrimp often costs more then the chops.
I also did breaded chops with sweet potatoes and asparagus.
Strawberries and bananas but the kids bought too many I asked for 3 they bought 8 so by the time I got to them over ripe. I ate as much as I could.
I made cinnamon & blueberry Belgian waffles. Have a number in freezer ate with syrup.
Also had 2 grapefruit on hand. ate 1/2 twice a week this morning I ate a whole one.
I had a lovely loaf of cinnamon bread... really great. I cut in thick slab then cut those in 4. Wrapped one of two together for snacks and breakfasts. I still have some left over.
Mostly I had leftovers from the last few weeks... Veggie pasta, also Sundried tomato pasta... yum!
Grilled cheese sandwiches w/o PNB
Salads 3 o 4 days either lunch or dinner. Lunches were always bigger.
A few morning I ended up having one cup of cinnamon applesauce to get me to lunch.
I also think I skipped dinner once.
Plus a coto Baloney sandwich dinner & lunch. Plus Deviled Ham sandwiches. No chips to go with always have on hand as I put the chips in the middle of the slices.Dill Pickles spears always with sandwiches.
THe other night I made sweet Italian sausage spaghetti sauce on angel hair. Garlic, basil, frozen tomatoes, marjoram I am out of but added oregano. Parm and that has been two meals so far.
Ok that is it for now. Am waiting for my Imperfect food to arrive. I think lo spaghetti for lunch.
Have a good food week. Hope your buying goes well.
