I wouldn't like mayo that was separated before getting to me, either.
Thanks for letting me know. So far, nothing I've ordered has said Amazon Logistics. I wonder what it actually is? Hmmm. Will avoid regardless, thanks again!
I'm glad that food deliveries seem to be back on track.
Checkbooks, yep, a regular chore.
I have another that I do...pharmaceuticals. Because I have worked on getting some of them in a 3 month supply (I'm saving a lot of money this way on the ones not covered by insurance.) I can lose track of when they need to be called in, as some are special orders, and take up to a week to fill, so need to be called in a week early, one is compounded so takes 3-4 longer, etc.
If I'm not careful, soon they are all ready on separate days of the month. Ds isn't in the next town often enough for that to work, and if I have them mail it, and they are ready at different times, I get charged shipping fees several times, so it pays to work at getting them all at once, with maybe one that will never match up to the others.
So, I have a list of our medications. Once the pills come in, I count them first...which I shouldn't have to do, but sometimes they aren't correct.
After I count them, I copy the date from the bottle next to the med. in my notebook. That way I know the exact date they were filled, and can back the date up by 2 days.
The insurance will let me call them in 2 days ahead, but no more. It sounds petty, but that gives me 24 pills extra each year as a buffer, just in case, and I've needed to use my 'stash' before. I feel much better with them in the wings, just in case.
Anyway, just another chore, like checkbook balancing, shopping lists, etc. Good luck with catching up; I just did mine yesterday.
Have a good day!
