I was reading an article on sandwiches...yep, that's really what I read, lol!...which was talking about history, and so forth, and when it got to recipes I noticed the there was a huge variety of not bread, but buns.
They were using potato bread buns, Hawaiian sweet buns, Orowheat and other brands of those type of buns, seeded hamburger buns, etc.
One of the sandwiches was a steak sandwich with a sort of aioli, etc., and another was tuna...so they ran the gamut.
If you were to use a bun, vs. a slice of bread, what type would you choose for a tuna fish sandwich, and a sliced steak sandwich?
