Spinach was the green of choice at our house...a cooked green that is. Always served with vinegar & S&P.
Salads were lettuces of various types. While Pasta salads were main meal components. Not sides.
I buy small cans of spinach even now. Lol
Slaw was a big favorite, as were tossed greens or wedges. Cabbage rolls. Gee haven't thought of those for a long time. Stuffed with ground pork & rice cooked in a tomato sauce. With veggies.. hummm that sounds good. Lolol

This mix I bought is new to me. Not sure which use I will put it to. Will try a small salad first. I have some cabbage in the fridge maybe mix together. Hummmm. Thinking hat is on. Lolol
