(This is the weekly post where you share your week of food. Did you have anything that really made your week, such as your favorite soup, a lunch out, or maybe you had something new? Find a new food product? A new appliance? Please do share!)
Whew! Doing all of that prep left my hands hurting, but it was worth it!
I now have 7 packs of Asian food starter in the freezer, and a bowl of stew in the 'fridge, waiting to be frozen in individual meals.
Now, I just have to cook the meat for the Christmas burritos, and make some quick chili, and I can stop cooking for a while. Well, after I pickle the beets. And, maybe make some Christmas cookies. Okay, so maybe I'll have to cook a bit more, but no more vegetables!
I have to say, though, that the new electric pan cooks like a dream, so once the veges are prepped, the actual cooking part is not an issue at all!
I think that some cookies and tea are right up my alley about now. Or, maybe muffins?
I'm wondering if my blueberry-apple-orange sauce can be frozen. You can freeze cranberry sauce. Hmmm, I should look up the details for freezing applesauce.
I went to pay my shelter, btw, and the tape on the message said that the people there had been exposed to corona. They've been closed for a week. I sure hope that they are okay.
Well, Ds may come over to help Dh get some sheet metal on the chicken and KK runs. With the rain, small lakes are forming!
How was your food week?
