I love spare ribs! They sound especially good with the Asian vegetables, rice, and noodles!
We used to have them as part of our appetizers at our favorite Chinese restaurant from the 60's through the 80's...General Lee's! And, aside from the eggrolls, they were my favorites!
Wow, that's complete! I'll bet that it will be a delicious soup! A hambone is a find in itself! I could rarely find them, back when, and would substitute a ham hock for it. Enjoy!
