I can't stand oysters. The only clams I will eat are the ones in Manhattan Clam Chowder. I hate white stuff... have slowly grown out of a few white things but mayo, milk, cream, buttermilk and other such white stuff I find gross.
If I use mayo it is so thin on the bread or in the potato salad that there is no mayo taste. I think you get the drift.
But I have loved Shrimp, lobster and Scallops since a kid. I do like fish but prefer baked or breaded or fried. Of course buying fresh from the Redondo Beach Pier made a lot of difference.
It took a long time for me to like sour cream, or Philly cream cheese. Yogurt is just gross! As is jello and other substances with that type of surface. YUCK!
Add Oatmeal, cream of rice, and other things. What is that raison and rice dish? GAG!
Veggies are wonderful and so is MEAT.
Cream of mushroom soup took me a while till I had kids. LOL Then gd beef onions S & P with Cr of mushroom soup, worcestershire sauce, garlic and S&P cooked then piled on waffles, mashed potatoes, or rice, Dad like Toast. Mashed 'taters is my fave.
Jello felt so slimy. Both of my kids hate it.. and cream of rice. Though Boy has learned to love most of his wife's cooking.. but I have trouble eating it.
I love meatloaf. LOLOL Anyway deserts are my downfall. No surprise there, eh??? LOLOL
