There's not a lot of food news currently. I think that everything will be closed for a few days, other than Safeway, with the planned blackout. I assume that includes the buffalo ranch.
Ds is making his first stew, so I've been talking to him on the phone about what he might like in it.
He can't use peas, as ddil doesn't care for them, but is going to add mushrooms, and she does like those.
I've pretty much nailed down the meals for the holidays, with back up plans until I actually see the whites of the ingredients' eyes!
I have seen some interesting things on cooking shows, though. For example...pizza pot pie. Apparently, it's a Chicago 'thing.' Who knew?
