Ds is working, but not as much as he needs to.
The Dr., who doesn't approve of babies eating too young, said that Thyri weighs too little. She weighs 14 lbs., and they want her age to weigh 16. They don't take into account individuals. She said to get rid of her vegetables, and give a bottle instead. She said, "I wouldn't gain enough weight if I ate vegetables, either."
She now eats sweet potatoes, peas, corn, etc.
So, now she will have her cereal meal, and the rest of the day just a bottle.
I know how you feel, re: things being okay, and not wanting to complain. But, please don't. Any respite from major problems is to be celebrated, and complaints are relevant. (((Hug!)))
Good choices from IMF! There's so much one can do with a cabbage, and the rest. Tillamook cheese has been our go-to for years!
Oh, good list with the time before! Parm, bacon, pitas, sweet potatoes, etc.
I ended up with 2 sizes of carrots. Dh mentioned candying the large ones, he will cut them. There aren't that many, which is good, because I haven't got my good pan now.
I love that you have the pre-made food from Schwan's. Yes, I like sloppy Joe's, too. I did growing up, too. We never had them as a dinner with the family, but for a lunch maybe, once in a while.
That sounds like a good version of mac 'n cheese.
Those sound like good meals! Yes, I know that you don't care for olives. I'd take them! :-) My favorite place for a pizza here just closed forever. We used to eat there with the kids sometimes. In fact, when they had their Tae Kwon Do demo there, in the parking lot, Ds was 8? maybe, and Valeri sparred with the current, at the time, kick boxing champion - Javier 'Thunder' Mendez, everyone, including Javier ate there afterwards.
Everyone got a kick out of that demo, because Javier was kick boxing and Valeri was supposed to use Tae Kwon Do on him. But, in the middle, she switched to kick boxing. He loved it, everyone did. :-) Anyway, they just closed last week.
I know that I can make a meal of mashed potatoes! And, chips and onion dip, for that matter!
I love raisin bread...toasted or not. My mom used to buy it. Mmmmm!
How nice about the woodpecker! We hear ours more that we see them, too. Except at the lake, where this one bird would sit in the trees mere feet from us. Even in a tree right near the front door, and didn't fly away when you stepped out.
What did you make the moats from? I've made them from 2 litter bottle bottoms, long ago.
Oh, cool! We don't have road runners here, that I know of. S. Calif., yes, of course, but not here.
Can't wait to hear about the peanut butter and coffee!
I see the wallpaper. They must be having problems on and off.
Have a good eating week!
