I hate to say it but the fires have pushed you ahead of schedule and into your new home. What do you think? Not your plan at all.
Ok how are you doing? You have mentioned your health lately. How is your emotional health? Mental also. How are your kids and the baby?
Are they dealing ok? Is your Ds working or has his job been halted? I worry about all of you.
I feel guilty for how ok my life is. I could complain but about something I suppose but, but it would only be about my trash & recycling.
Yesterday I received food from both Schwans and Imperfect Foods. Spent 22 & 29 $ respectively.
I skip every other delivery from IPFoods. Or I buy something needed. Schwans only delivers every next delivery is on the 30th, other Friday so 4 days before payday... so will wait till the 13th for next shopping list.
So here is what I bought from Imperfect Foods

Both companies sell fish, meat, poultry. So I am not stuck just with frozen. IPFoods does Organic which is good for me.
But I do have treats from both, Occasionally.
I haven't fixed pasta for a while so used up some of the American cheese and made a rue for mac n cheese using Penne only. Not bad.

Leftover potato soup
And yes, I have a thing for raisin toast, PNB and spam or bacon. LOL
So I am lucky to have a freezer though I did lose electricity for about an hour one day. Freaked me out.
So there you have it. I am walking more now - min 9 laps per day - that 100 degree days are behind us. ANd have had maybe 5 wonderful days - not in a row or together - of 70's low 80s. 90s are still here... we just had the 70 degree day and 90's for the rest of this week along with high humidity.
Woodpecker serenaded me yesterday as I sat on porch I think it was a Ladder-backed Woodpecker. That's the one that shows up every year. I rarely see it but often hear it.
The hummers finally left. Took down the feeder - I only have one now.. so need to buy more glass ones and a decent bottle brush. I tried one that opens from the top but it's seal didn't keep ants out.
So I made some moats to hang above the feeder. WORKED GREAT.
Saw the neighborhood Road Runner on my way to the mailbox. Lovely creature.
The Carolina Wrens are dominating the singing. The Doves disappear every few days then return to hog the bird seed.
I now have a new squirrel cup for nuts amid the ceder's out front. Then there is the one off the back porch and the main one in the tree.
I hope to buy decent bird feeders.. what I am using are all piecemealed together.
Well Charlie needs to go out for his P & P... bet you can figure that out. LOL
Kids are due later so I will return with the Dairy and grocery items they bought for me that I can't get elsewhere.
Good luck with your projects. Oh I love growing sweet potato vines.
When I come back I will tell you about the 8 pounds of coffee I bought and the 10 pounds of peanut butter... and other mass buyings. ROFLOL
See ya soon my friend.
PS still no wallpaper.. do you thinks it me?
