Grapes are tasty! I see that you've made the most of them!
Ah, someone else who had liver! Delicious sounding!
I'm so glad to hear that about your shoulder, whew! Yes, that can make the days very trying.
For me, foods like rice are either good, or they are kind of repulsive.
What has been the problem with yours? I hope that the other rice was better with the fish. What kind of fish? Mmmm! :-)
Yes, if it got cool at night, the higher humidity until the clouds burn off would not be a problem, but with it 90 at night...!!! Eegads that's miserable!
I have a short bookcase, a few inches shorter than me, which is pasteboard, I think. It looks good, and is glass-fronted, but not real, unfortunately. Still, it's in it's original box, so is in good condition.
I'm thinking of putting it on the wall next to the door to the kitchen, on the living room/dining room side, next to the dining room table, and putting by favorite/best cookbooks in it. I love the older ones, the antiques, but I work with what I've got. I'm really sorry about the demise of yours. I'll bet that you'll find just the right one for the space.
Ooo, I like that to describe the 'fridge's freezer!
Good for you on the water!
Me, too. I was handling the heat, then it just got to be too much. I'm over-heated, and yes, the humidity is up.
Yes, I know what you mean about your symptoms. Darn!!
I am more stressed about the post office than most things. I like to be able to rely on it.
I used to make Jiffy. When we went to the food warehouse with my Dfil, they would have it there for 50 cents a box. Great deal, easy to make. I make my own, too, always these days, but was not against a tasty shortcut!
Nice thought about the chair!
My favorite chair was left in L.A. My mom had it as part of a living room set, and when she got a new set, my cousin brought me her couch, chairs, and love seat. I loved them all, but the chair was the most comfortable one that I've ever sat in, that didn't rock. It was made of a lovely gold material, held you like a hug, and my feet touched the floor! Lol!
I have a rocking chair in storage. Hopefully we can get it out, and into the house when we move in, one of these days soon. No one is getting back to us on the rest of the work. Well, we have the siding on....though it must be painted to preserve it, and before the cooler, moister weather.
I hope that the rest of the week is good for you, and that you continue to have good things to eat!
