(This is the weekly post where you share your week of food. Did you have anything that really made your week, such as your favorite soup, a lunch out, or maybe you had something new? Find a new food product? A new appliance? Please do share!)
I'm trying to be conservative with regards to meat use, but it's not been easy!
This meat has been quite good.
A couple of days we had meat/onions with pasta, and one day we had meat/onions/celery/greens with pad Thai noodles.
Because it was more meat than vegetables, and we didn't have broccoli, we ate the leftovers as a rice dish.
I'm thawing the next piece. It should be ready to cut/grind by tomorrow, or Tuesday at the latest.
I can probably get 2 types of meals out of it, 2 nights for each meal.
I've not made Bobby Burcher cookies in a while, but made some this week. They are stovetop cookies, the ones with oats and peanut butter usually added to a chocolate base.
The big news, of course, are my freezing/canning plans. I was glad to find 99% of what I need.
How was your food week?
