And, yes, strawberry pie! We used to get those from Marie Calendar's, but I started making them once I couldn't get them from there anymore.
Actually, they used to sell jars of strawberry Marie Calendar's glaze, next to their salad dressings, at the supermarket!
That's true, fruit in salad is something that a lot of people like a lot.
If you want to try salad again, maybe try a chopped salad, sans lettuce. Basically, everything is diced, but not too large, and all the same size.
Sometimes people line it up by vegetable in thick stripes, which makes it look like a flag, and sometimes over something like al dente, cooled, orzo.
Then, you add dressing of choice.
For example, one could add chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet onion - or just a few green onions, peas, corn, avocado, etc. I recently saw someone saute garbanzo beans for a crisp element. So, anything goes. How about dices of cheese? Egg? Colored bell peppers?
He sounds amazing! But, he seems to have had an interest since early on. Because of Ds, I know that they never change their interest, whether or not it becomes a career.
For example, today's ddil's birthday and he's making her meals, and cake. He made her a biscuits and gravy breakfast!
The cake is 4 layers...every other one chocolate, then pink....cherry? Strawberry? I don't know what was finally decided. With a filling...again, not sure what kind, and a cherry/strawberry frosting with a chocolate ganache to drip down the sides, and be at the top, etc.
Well, Ds would, and it sounds like Josh would, too!
How wonderful about the food processor and air fryer!
He does sound like a good chef. You do have to taste, and adjust seasonings.
I've seen people competing on Chopped, and the chef/judges will sometimes say, "Did you taste this food?" And, they will say, "No." No?! Really??!!
How can you not taste it to make sure that there's enough/not too much salt, that there's balance, that it doesn't need some kind of flavor, such as acid? They are supposed to be professional! Josh does better than that, sheesh!
Well, may he use them in good health, and continue to enjoy what he's doing. Maybe he'll be able to make a good living at it, as well!
