What I need the most, is to have a big garden growing right now. But, with everything happening, I'll be satisfied with anything. I'm hoping that 'anything' is my kitchen garden on the hill...
Pot pies sound good.
The produce sounds terrific, and convenient!
Are your plans to freeze the bread? I love peanut butter on whole grain bread for some reason. The first time that I ever had the combination, I was addicted!
That's tomorrow for the books! Hardbacks do take more room, but they are very satisfying to read, for me, anyway. :-)
Your box on the 26th sounds like a fun one to get! I can't help it, but I enjoy receiving things like that!
I first bought the small, mixed container (bag compared to box.) of chips for my mom. She loved them in that size. Then, I began getting them for our 4th of July event to sell there. They are perfect for me, too, size-wise. I have a difficult time with leaving chips alone, too. And, they come in various mixes.
Everything about the burger dinner sounds delicious!
I was able to increase my food intake some the past 2 days, and ate meat again, yeah! Dh said that I seem mellower, have more color in my cheeks, and seem to feel better...which is definitely true today. I have a dramatic affect from meat when I've not been eating enough. I am going to see if I can get more meat by turning some recyclables in. We have quite a few water bottles again!
The popcorn shrimp sound very good! I used to love the small, chicken eggrolls with catsup and hot mustard. Another addicting food!
Lol! Don't worry, that's the kind of thing that we'd talk about at the table if someone brought it up!
When the kids were growing up, nothing was off-limits to discuss, at any time.
Which is how I grew up, so it makes sense. A lot of people feel uncomfortable discussing certain things, whereas we discussed things openly when I was growing up.
Ddil is very uncomfortable with things like other people helping her to track her menstruation cycle. Me? We weren't eating, but when I asked my mom a question on the subject, she pulled up a dining room chair, and drew the uterus on a napkin, explaining all, lol! Poor ddil, joining this family! ;-)
So, you got an AC? I just read that on TT. How did that happen? No matter how, I'm thrilled. It's getting too close to summer not to have it.
Same here, 90's coming up next week. Today is weird, though. It got warm around noon, then started rapidly dropping. There was cloud cover, but it was still odd.
Awww, thank you! But, we all need our problems 'fixed.'
I'm so sorry that they still had an expense, but am glad that the ins. covered their roof, at least.
I'll write soon. I'm off for a nap, then prepping carrots and such. But afterwards, as long as I can get online. I want to talk to you, and run a poem by you, etc. :-)
