I'm kind of addicted to tarter sauce with fish and chips. Then, one day, I found a good jarred brand, and mixed it into my tuna. Holy cow was that good. Trust me, it's worth trying!
I also like lemon with my fish.
Halibut was my dad's fish of choice at home. That's what my mom always cooked; broiled. Back then, all halibut was pretty much created equal. Now, you have to be super careful when buying it, so that you get what you want.
The best swordfish that I ever had was at Konocti, when we were at one of the dinner shows. I pretty much ate my weight in it that night. It was delicious.
I agree, safety first. The driveway sounds like the perfect place.
I'm sorry that the fish is so expensive. That keeps me from it these days, too.
