I am a huge avocado lover.
Mostly, because avocado toast wasn't a 'thing' yet, I had it on untoasted bread as sandwiches. (Not to mention as an addition to other types of sandwiches.) Sometimes sliced on whole grain bread with sprouts...at a little place called $2 Dollar Bills.
Or, more often, just mashed, on soft bread, with salt sprinkled on and lots of lemon juice...sometimes with Lawry's salt, and sometimes with bacon bits sprinkled on, but mostly not.
I can see using the toppings that you are suggesting, though. I'm not sure that I could resist the lemon juice, even so, but I'd try it without first.
Since the kids eat avocadoes regularly, I'll make the suggestion to them; thank you!
