I picked three smallish avocados at the Veggie stand Sunday. They were hard but with a touch of softness. When I removed the bit of stem they were yellowish underneath.
I waited till this morning to have them. Oh they were so good. So here is how I prepare Avocado toast.
3 slices of Asiago Bread very lightly toasted
2 avocados- sliced
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt - or sea salt
Cracked pepper
Sesame seeds
Hot pepper flakes
On each slice of toast lay enough avocado to cover the bread and use a fork to slightly mush the avocado to cover the bread
Drizzle Avocado with some EVOO
Sprinkle with
1 Salt & cracked Pepper
2 Sesame Seeds
3 Hot pepper flakes
ENJOY!
And I did this morning. All three slices.
Plus I have one small avocado left.
