Also, it makes me wonder how it would taste with caraway or rye seeds added? Maybe not as many but...?
My freezer didn't make it here. First it poured, then Ds took Dh to get bloodwork, so that the insurance will pay for one of his expensive medications. *sigh*
So, I can't make much soup, nor store anything still. I had made a good amount of the beef stew and chili, but we had to eat it too fast, so I think that we've lost the last chunk of meat. I hate waste. :-( I'll check in the morning.
My menu for this week will be a small soup, just enough for 2 days, maybe, including chicken salad, and a frittata after that. Oh, and blueberry pancakes or waffles for Dh, whichever day he wants them.

I'm just happy that you wrapped up your January soups, and have plans for February!
