It is on the site detoxinista.com search for tomato less Marinara.
The ingredients are
coconut oil
2 yellow onions chopped
4 garlic cloves
1 pound carrots
1 medium beet
1 cup water
1 tsp sea salt
2 tbls lemon juice
The beet is what give the red color to the sauce.
Plus cans of beets are cheat and you can eat tons of them before carbs add up.
My son & I eat them alot... they are one healthy food.
Have him go online for tomato-less black bean soups.
The Minestrone recipe above may be a good one also. Any soup can be adapted to loose or add items to it.
