We had a bit of a strange week, having to eat the meat, but not being able to make it when we wanted to. It's a long story involving the heater and generator gas, but is okay now. (Don't stop those freezer good thoughts...Ds is coming over today!)
We did finish the chili, and I did manage a stew. Hopefully, there will be a freezer to save a little of it.
Twice this week, we had hot cereal for dinner, and just went to bed. It was a strange week.
Coming up, we will have no more meat, and I think that I'll get some of the affordable chicken to cook with my vegetables. I used a bunch of my carrots, 1/2 of my celery, and some greens.
I'm thinking that the chicken would go with what's left of the vegetables for a stir fry.
I have also decided to finish the carrots with making candied carrots the next time that I have chicken.
