What do you drink the most of? Water, lemon water, and herbal teas. Cocoa is 4th.
What is your favorite vegetable? Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes, & Brussels. (I used to be able to add asparagus, peas, fresh green beans cooked with lemon and butter, etc.)
Your least favorite vegetable? I am not a big squash eater. Winter squash without being sweet, just doesn't do anything for me. And, if sweet, I still would rather have sweet potatoes.
What is your favorite fruit? I like most fruit. I used to call stone fruits, tomatoes, mangos, and melons my favorites, but I can still eat other favorites, like papayas and pineapple.
Your least favorite fruit? Hmmm, I can't think of one offhand.
What is your favorite dairy product? I have always like various cheeses, and also cream cheese.
Least favorite dairy product? I've never been a milk drinker, and don't miss it.
What is your favorite everyday breakfast food? If not choosing leftovers I'd say a Western omelet, or maybe bagel/freshly made flatbread with cream cheese. Toppings could be many things, and it might be by itself, or with eggs scrambled with a lot of browned onions, etc.
Or, in one of the few times I used to eat bacon, a 'Special,' which is a fried egg sandwich with mustard, salt, extra pepper, and crisp bacon on soft white bread. Yes, Momo, BLT's! Up here, I liked Applewood smoked chicken slices that I pan cooked to bring out the smokiness and best texture. It made a great blt and Special.
Least favorite breakfast food? Plain eggs?
Special occasion breakfast food? How about a western omelet, or maybe sliced meat/steak with O'Brians or hash browns, or those frozen potato patties? The 3rd one is my grandmother's chocolate and biscuits!
What is your favorite type of meat or poultry? I'm with Momo, something melting like filet mignon...since in fantasyland we can afford it!
I like my ground meat from top round or sirloin. Remember when the butcher at the supermarket would come to talk to you when you pushed the button, then you handed him a steak...my mom and grandmother chose round steak...thus ground round, had him trim the fat, then 2ce grind it. They were happy to. It used to be good to befriend your butcher, now they aren't allowed to do many things, include sell you any beef fat, which I needed to make a little tallow from, for a couple of bars of soap 2 years ago.
Chicken for ruby chicken, chicken kiev, chicken and broccoli, lemon-garlic chicken, and such.
Least favorite type of meat or poultry? I am not fond of most organ meats, with the exception of some types of liver. I don't make kidney, tripe, and so forth. Uni...blech. Wait, it's seafood, so I don't have to add it!
What is your favorite dessert? I'm with Momo on this, too....lemon meringue pie, as well as chocolate pie, and Christmas cake...chocolate chip-apple-cardamon. I'm refusing to think about certain ice creams!
Least favorite dessert? I'm not fond of the really dry, non-butter, sandy/crumbly cookies. There are so many really good cookies out there.
What is your favorite healthy food? Soup. You can fit more 'healthy stuff' in a spoonful of soup than almost anything. I love soup, as a general rule.
Also, despite my Dfil calling it junk, I think that a well-made pizza is healthy, Think about it...a layer of carb, followed by healthy tomatoes and herbs...herbs really are good for you, btw...some cheese, and whatever you top it with. Make it vegetable forward, or add bbq'd chicken, and voila!
Wok/stir fry. Tons of vegetables, and lean meat or chicken!
Least favorite healthy food? Again, I'm not a huge winter squash fan, so don't like the squash-everything trend. Squash tamales, etc.
