I use the new big round roaster the kids gave me last year. I finally made space on the counter for it. It's larger than an large serving platter.
It's a ChefStyle 15 inch Skillet. Boy does it cook fast. I think I am liking this alot.
I will post the recipe later - added a few steps and items since I posted it last time.
There is still a pack of 12 more beef tamales in the big freezer. So I can make more after this batch is all gone. It filled a dozen square storage small and medium square containers. To save space I have them cooling in the fridge and tomorrow I will move the soup to plastic freezer bags - they take up so much less room than the square containers.
Besides freezer pint and quart bags are also alot cheaper than the containers.
Ok if I am on line tomorrow I will post the tamale soup recipe. I hope to make cheesy cauliflower & potato soup tomorrow. I always give my neighbors some of what ever I make... which means I need to move the T soup in to the bags first thing in the AM.
This will be a creamy soup so will post that as well.
Well there are a few more fireworks bang outside... I think down by the lake. Sheesh. I hate when the holiday comes in the middle of a week which means people celebrate on both weekends to make up for it.
Good grief it's loud.
