I grew up eating lamb chops, then got older and felt bad. Later, I saw that lamb is from full-grown looking animals, not the little tail waggers I'd imagined. That helped a little. Not that I have eaten it much in the last 30 years...2ce? But, after seeing the difference, I could.
Eating beef is rare for me now, for health reasons. I can't look a cow in the eye and think about food. But, oddly, I don't have the same problem with buffalo, which is what I eat. I just can't get to know an individual animal.
Aren't we a pair? But, I need to eat meat, so I stick with buffalo and chicken.
I know a lady who shows rabbits. She lives in Nevada, and has written a couple of good books. She was saying the other day that she makes stew from the ones without the right fur color. :-(
Well, enough of this conversation.
