that Utah win keeps getting better and better Previous Message
I do hope finally gets recognized with a POW award.
the UCSD announcer actually started out pronouncing her name as Haymaker lol, pretty funny
She scored the last 4 points of that critical 3rd set come back, when it was clear we were going to set her every time. clutch
& she created the seperation in that first set, with her serving run and aces.
7 aces over the weekend was pretty impressive
clutch. not sure though as Gabi Martinez & Sac State's OH may get the recognition. Previous Message
A grind is a polite way of saying it. Hard to watch but the team found a way to close it out in 4. On to the next match and keep the streak going. Previous Message
things were going well, dominating with the block, up 20-17 2nd set ignoring the hideous background of SD's/Fee's new teraflex.
and then the backcourt like forgot everything from their first 4 weeks lol, that was one ugle serving run and do credit SD's setter for some nice varied serves, but sheesh
a struggle from there, was bleak 3rd set but this team seems t always find a way, Mad Max with maybe her best serving stretch of the year and Hamaker was go to to close out that 3rd set.
4th set felt empty, thanks to SD all the sudden forgot themselves how they served 1st 3 sets and had so many service errors.
oh well, the block was suffocating. Hamaker was clutch, the middles terminal
and hopefully the backcourt learned something when a team serves hard floats short and moves the serves around
Reagan challenged properly!! so there's that, coaching had a stellar game with choosing their challenges!
two wins, all that mattters!
