I expect Cal Poly, UCSB, Sac St, and CSUN to be the upper tier along with LBSU. The preseason has shown that LBSU and Cal Poly are probably 1A and the others 1B. It would be nice if LBSU loses at the most 2 conference matches that would be tough. Poly at home in the conference tournament will be tough and I would like to see LBSU have a chance at an at large but they probably would have to go undated until the conference tournament.
If the lefts continue to improve and make themselves a real threat LBSU will be in great shape to make some real noise in conf.

With Irvine, taking nothing for granted.
been awhile since this much excitement which this group of women deserve a lot of credit for with the tenacity of this team.
team has Mad setters, a Haymaker, a Wall of MBs, ice in the veins backcourt specialists, and constantly improvingn all around OHs
I think there will be a big chasm between the top 5 or 6 teams and a bottom 4 or 5. very competitive,
Sac State & Utah Valley will start off with 2-0 records this weekend, feasting on the inland empire.
Irvine is always a bit of an enigma, so who knows how they'll play.
team has a lot of rest after last Friday so expect they'll be jazzed. wish I could be at the Bren.
