without an active wing, you have no stop defense, and you severely restrict your offense.
everyone remembers AT. a Big West title and a BWCT/NCAA bid, playing anywhere from 1-5.
without that, defenses are gonna smother you.
yeah Sykes, and what's his name that wen to Villanove could break down their defender, just a difference when a solid point/scorer does not have that complementary wing

The coaching staff seems to have a blind spot when it comes to athletic wings. We haven't had any since Acker came on and I don't see that type on the 26-27 roster either. I don't know what the problem is...there are literally hundreds in the portal each year. That will be their achilles heel again...

well that should be good
we've had two stellar guards in Sykes and then the guy who went to Villanova (yes I no longer try to even remember these mercenaries names anymore! why bother, they have no intereest in Long Beach lol)
so if what you say is true, the question is will we have that game-changing wing that can defend like hell and then slash to the hoop, and score 10-11 points and be a LAX type

could or should be McCaden Adams, the JUCO first team all-American from Snow College. Averaged 18.4 per game, 40%+ from 3, and had 54 steals. Doubt that he'll have the same impact as Sykes, but this is the best I've felt about the backcourt since Acker arrived.

one home game in November, that sucks, although UCLA is easy to get to
I'm ok with a D2 game, have something at home
typically two home non conf D1, UOP & Portland, kind of standard
wake me up when we host Utah Valley, will pretty much know where the team stands by then
just cannot get too excited about MBB, reloads every year. have not idean whether they'll finish 12th or 1st lol. hopefully found another Sykes, and Sykes is no use to me he bailed $$
