they actually out-hit ORegon, in a super tight match
all their losses were also on teh road, so no question Wazzou is a pretty good volleyball team
on other hand their wins are against not so good teams, so pretty sure they want to beat a good team (like Beach) before conference
Massey Ratings has this as an exact 50-50 match toss up.
Northridge likewise has piled up good blocking stats, so this will be good prep for that.
comes down a lot to the serve-receive game, taking pressure off the pins
Wazzou has a setter Beach is familiar with from UCSD then Hawaii, now Wazzou (yep 3 schools in 3 years!) - Audrey Hollis who also will swing some from the right (like she did at UCSD) so a little like what Beach employs, only more of a 6-2
it is going to be a challenging match.

Not a real big fan of having two matches basically back to back vs the same home team.
Washington State will be tough but the thing that worries me the most is their blocking. They appear to have a big block and UCLA's big block cause LBSU all sorts of problems. Hopefully, especially are lefts, find some early success and do not get down on themselves if some balls come straight back.
I am hoping LBSU's serve and receive game will be humming and that makes the difference. Would be nice to pick up two here but that will be a very difficult task as game two will give both teams the ability to really game plan and expose weaknesses.
Looking forward to these two since they are very important to both teams. LBSU is on the verge of having a solid RPI with two wins and they need it since the BW conference bottom teams puts such a downward drag win or lose.
