encouraging on the first two, and Hamaker's play was highy encouraging for the latter. I think there is upside for Murphy and Johnson, and time will tell. that is maybe too optimistic, but think Johnson is athletic enough that there's substantial upside and she'll also be a nice BIC hitter. we have 3 players to make impacts that are either learning or re-adjusting in Hope, Murphy, and Johnson.

UCLA have that big middle and their outstanding libero was really the difference, even considering LBSU's overall poor play on the left.
King would have definitely made a difference but she is gone now and not coming back. I say the same thing and my friends say I am a broken record. Harris and Lomigoria would also made a big difference if they stayed too from a couple of years ago. Our incoming transfers have not come close to our out going transfers but that might be expected.

Singletary's size and strength were a matchup nightmare and we had no answer. Still put Logan King back in the lineup and it's a 1-1 weekend. This coming weekend will be a good barometer of where our team is at early in the season. Previous Message

I thought Nebraska was going to win it all last year... the year before.... Texas as a program seems to start the season slower than others do most of the time. I watched Pitt play and they look pretty darn good too. The final four will probably be the usual suspects. Previous Message
No 1 Nebraska sweeps no 2 Texas. Nebraska on a mission this year after losing in the final 4 and going 33-1 last year. They look unbeatable. To be fair to Texas they lost Abby Van Der Wal with a knee injury yesterday but still WOW! Perfect season's for Nebraska and Hawaii on the men's side a distinct possibility.
