I agree, Utah State was the most disappointing of the bunch. I also though CSUN underperformed by losing to Denver.

not sure how Zona will end up, but UCSB did sweep them in Tucson, so that says something
Cal Poly could not deal with Texas A&M, but without their standout middle.
Sac State went 0-3, albeit losing in Malibu in 5 to the Waves.
I thinkn Utah Valley was the biggest flop of potential contendors.
just based on one week
I'd still have Poly #1
Poly
UCSB
Beach
Sac State
it's early though, UCSB did seem to reload well based on a single week

so there's that. She certainly looked like the biggest impact player for UGLY

I thought Nebraska was going to win it all last year... the year before.... Texas as a program seems to start the season slower than others do most of the time. I watched Pitt play and they look pretty darn good too. The final four will probably be the usual suspects.

No 1 Nebraska sweeps no 2 Texas. Nebraska on a mission this year after losing in the final 4 and going 33-1 last year. They look unbeatable. To be fair to Texas they lost Abby Van Der Wal with a knee injury yesterday but still WOW! Perfect season's for Nebraska and Hawaii on the men's side a distinct possibility.
