When UCSB moves, I believe the men will be down to 4 in the league. I do not believe that qualifies for NCAA berth.
For women, down to 7 teams but if enough decide dropping will allow money shift?
Booster also told me the tennis center big scoreboard has not worked for 2 YEARS and this admin has stopped trying to fix it. Wonder what the Robbins think of that donation now? Sad.

Boostervsaid there has been some laughs from the group of supporters. Do not know if Post or LBSU SID screwed up, but the Post had Hilt-Costello's career wins record wrong. It did not include her final season.
My guess is the Post used the last bio that would have been posted at the start of the season.
Apparently the boosters found it SOP for support from LBSU for tennis anything.
Anyway. I do no know the final number but it's a season of wins short.

Spoke to a long time Jenny booster
• Exact same 8 as Jenny had. She did all recruiting and rarely used revolving assistants.
This year with same team:
• Finished three way tie for 4th. Lastvyearcwere tied for 3rd.
• Final record a win less and included some non MCAA or NAIA schoil called Stanton.
• Ranking finished less in masseyratings.
• Big win vs ranked Wichita State had big *. Apparently the Shockers missing players and could not even shake hands due to COVID breakout
Wichita later beat LB here.
So, slightly under performed with same but mor mature squad.
More interst8ng to the alleged complaint, replaced by young, largely inexperienced 27 year old on the cheap.

2020 - Covid no finish
2021 - Covid opt out did not pla rather than plan 8 match season. Apparently every player went on to use 5th year for grad school ot a transfer opportunity.
2022 - 7th.. worst since 2000.
2023 - tied 2nd
2024 - tied 3rd
2025 - tied 3rd
Just 2 seasons removed in 2023-24 and new Smitheran asking when Jenny will leave.
UCSB tennis decade dominance: Apparently they have a hedge fund millionaire that pays for everything and extra money to athletes for both women and men. He is even allowed to be the volunteer coach for the women.

Has deWilder received the Permanent Head Coach job?
The entire team stayed on last year, and ended up barely losing to UCSB in the BWCT semis.
They would be a conference title contending team if this core returns. At some points in the season, ranked in the ITA.
All recruited by Jenny & I assume DeWilder contributing to that as well, that was pretty good transistion all things considered, regardless of the contention Jenny experienced.
