dang, we had some real opportunities to take that and get to a 5th set winner take all
after Cryst's aces to put us up on Hawaii early, Varga had that odd back row oopsy what do I do then try to set only it went over as an overpass which Hawaii crushed point. Then up sizeable, and both Cryst and Gajek on successeive serves both had SEs when they had a chance to blow open set.
got to give Tread credit, that running towards the sideline bump over the head set on match point after a great Varga serve, was one of those plays that win championships, we were headed for 23-24 with Varga at the end line, only that ended it.
oh well. dang. Hawaii deserved it, but oh had some real chances and just our best players could not make a few plays. that's sports

Really took it to goliath in set 1. Played one of the best single sets I've seen from any team this year. Haw tried to be generous giving Irv 22 free points on service errors but in the end it did'nt matter. This HAW team is just to dominating. Scary, but HAW has everyone back next year and could be even scarier. Time out now till late August and women's volleyball.
