I think that 3rd set at home vs. UCLA put a lot of doubt in the team, that should have been a sweep, and probably a good thing

new setter, new coach, new players. had to reinvent a lot, maybe a good kick in the pants. after that the team has been on a tear for the most part.

then Pazanti went down. At that point Doty and Hershey both who had had to sit just came in and just did their job, and probably gave Pazanti & Gajek perspective, cause Doty was setting teh MBs well and Pazanti too off would not. helped set teh stage for the double swith with Pazanti and Gajek coming back to the line-up. Pazanti has continued to set better, maybe viewing the game from the side helped

last night Varga late 3rd set, Irvine was defeated, he intentionallly got a yellow card giving some trash back over the Irvine net. He looks locked, he found his serve rhythm back last week @ Irvine.

beenn a lot of progress with the team, and a great test to face a Hawaii crowd today to get in that environment. Have a good feeling about today, but never know. Hawaii is good, just seems like playing like something to prove and playing like it, with many doubting this team.

team had to realize they needed everybody, and maybe playing with a chip as well


the 4th set up at Northridge was big. Team was still all over the place and they found a way to win that 4th and 5th set, I think
