Team should be solid in the back row with both libs and the ds returning. This is a solid group that still has a lot of upside and growth.
I believe there are some players that can improve the passing and serving on this roster. As we all know this phase of the game is critical to the overall success of the team. Really need Hamaker to take a big jump here and she has all the tools to get the job done.
Maxwell really settled into being the starting setter last year but she is also so valuable as a pin attacker. Will be interesting to see what system the coach uses.
I am also interested in seeing who the head coach brings in as the 3rd assistant. Outside of herself of course the head coach has had an all male roster and not a coach with a significant setter background.
With normal growth I believe this team has the talent to compete for a conference championship. I expect the usual suspects of Cal Poly and UCSB will be the prime contenders with LBSU for the crown. Cal Poly should be the favorite on how they closed the season last year.
Should be an exciting season in 2026 and I hope the fan support continues to grow.

really excited to see how Yates develops as a MB.
going to need a lot of coaching up in the MB spot, and see how the OHs handle receiving to make up for Agi who was a glue/stud and relatively unflappable in the backcourt. Agi shrugged off plays and was great at moving on.

Good to see all the familiar names back (Maxwell, King, Hamaker) plus the incoming freshman and transfers. There's 17 currently, but there's also the spring transfer portal opening up on May 1, so still no certainty of the roster for the 2026 season. Assuming they don't lose anyone off this roster, we can still add one more to reach the roster limit.
