either today or Tuesday based on the Board of Trustees meeting agenda that has been posted. Hopefully, it's not another extension of the process but the naming of an actual person to the position. A couple of criteria for me. 1) hire someone who is a sitting president at another university. Until Janey, we only hired sitting presidents at other universities (FKA from Murray State, Maxson from UNLV). It's important that the selected person have that type of executive experience, even if it's at a "lower level" university. 2) hire someone who is not beholden to any political party or ideology. The only ideology I want from this person is to make LBSU the best possible university and increase the value of our degrees. If you meet those two criteria, I don't care who it is. That's good enough for me.
