1st half: bad

2nd half: good

#1) Sykes cannot continue to play 38-40 minutes a game, especially with two guys draped all over him. UCSB gave him no room (I wish we did the same for Mahaney(sic), and he forced some shots. still got some nice assists

#2) was good to see Bender make some nice plays.

#3) Bender and Farrel. this team can only go so far as these guys can contribute more. That early 2nd half, Farrell had two point blank layup misses, and Bender with two horrific of his rushed offense moves inside early 2nd half. cost 6 or so points at the time. They both later made some plays which was good, just they need to be more consistent. Bender in particular, hopefully he's learning to not rush in offense, had some nice set shots.

#3) can Petar play a game where he doesn't pile up fouls in the first 24 minutes, lol


the loss stings considerng had chances at the end, played hard at the end. Need to beat Riverside, after that 6 of last 10 are against Davis, UCSD, Irvine, and Hawaii. dang, would have been a huge win. just way too many 2nd chance points gave up today.

DMX just is not the player he showed last year.
