What is on the agenda is a closed meeting to discuss executive personnel and later, to set the salary for the president of CSULB. You don't set the salary for the president until you know who it is. Also, I read that final interview(s) were held a couple of weeks ago. They've taken so long, they better have a homerun hire. All I ask is that it's a sitting president with decent experience. I know we're not getting someone from the upper echelon schools, but we've increased the salary in recent years, so I'm hopeful we get someone good and someone who'll stay 5+ years.
Unless someone in the know spills the beans, I guess we wait until next week.

Is it on the agenda? IF not, you have your answer.
I really do not udnerstand why this is so hard. I'm expecting the Interim might last until July 2027. The problem is Cal State is so inbred that likely to get another bureaucrat of the UC/CS system like we got with Jane.

new permanent president. The Board of Trustees is meeting next Wednesday and Thursday. Something tells me they are going to make their choice known at this meeting...
