one thing is we struggled a LOT last year @ Lindenwood, actually much closer match, with Moni, than this year was.

it is so hard to get adjusted to this team without Moni, he was so spectacular. The team just feels like it's going to be some 'machine' sans pizazz.

Varga is calm, Kandev is calm, Larson is calm. Preuitt was so calm, Braun is calm. Cryst looks calm, MacRae is calm.

no Briggs, no Soto, no Moni, no Towrie. no Knipe, Gajek can have a bit of an edgy look to him lol

I mean this biggest excitement with this team is a unified clap with Bloom, and even he does that calmly lol

Hopefully Kandev takes the pressure off himself by passing nails and force the opposition to spread it around more.

MVB receiving is everything, especially without Moni this year to 'bail out' with service runs or kills

Kandev was the target by far almost had half the recepltions, so Lindenwood purposely was going after him. received 0.904 due to those two aces, somewhat a shared stat as Solomon split Larson/Kandev with two great serves. Something to watch, . Varga and Larson are exceptional passers so likely gonna be a constant theme likely teams picking what they 'perceive' as the least common denominator and aiming at Kandev. and a huge challenge for him with that constant drumbeat of pressure he'll have.
