as said before the worst part of yesterday was that stretch, about 12 (?) or so minutes left, had got a 3 point lead, and then just went into TO mode for like 3 minutes, P but that should have been time to get a 8 point or so lead

the key play, Leopold (got to love that name, guessing he's the fist Leopold student athlete at Beach!) got an offense board, then finished with a bucket off a Petra pass. was large to get out of that funk sequence

squeezed minutes out of Leopold, OTJ training, but with DMX & Washingting out, needed his minutes and at least he made some solid shots

the other was in waning minutes, Cooley had the hot hand, but I think it was Bender Lewis on that next Pepp off set denied Cooley the ball, Pepp did not get a good shot, and Cooley cooled off after that

lastly, the huge play was Diaz defense, he got a clean hand on Cooley's ball, it slowed Cooley just a tad limiting his elevation, and then the big block. without that Cooley likely gets fouled instead of getting blocked. huge huge play by Diaz.

and yes the block by Bender was huge, even if Cooley had a better look, Bender would ahve at a minimum sent Cooley to the line to force him to hit FTs, and we would have had time left. no gift basket. two great defense plays in that one sequence
