even though the team has grown in past 8 days, other coaches scout, and Sykes is gonna get more attention, and it'll be tougher for him
DMX is a player to watch. I did not like a lot of the way he played vs. SB. He's just still so raw, not really having any post moves, awkward play, he can only rely on raw talent for so much, so IMO like others a project. Yes, can grab boards, but he has got to learn the game at some point.
and the other guards, how will they continue to improve and take burden off of Sykes. Jones and Lewis especially.
otherwise the team will plateau.

The Spartans are 4-5 but no significant victories. They have lost to 2 BW teams (UCSB and UCI). SJSU HC Miles is a solid veteran, somewhat like Less at Davis. They will play solid defense. My prediction for the game: SJSU 67 Niners 54
