and of course it was U$C & not Cal Poly taking it to them.
Poly served a lot like Beach does hard sideline deep serves to keep the setter off the net,
that Beshear kid looked like Moni in that fifth set - kid was just ripping the ball, wish they had a clock on those 5th set serves. some of the best clutch serving I've ever seen in a big match
teh way to beat those taller teams is speed and tempo and Poly did that for 4 out of 5 sets, along with a massive serving run lol.

Nice win for Cal Poly and the Big West. BYU was the highest seed to lose on night 1. We have some work to do to catch up with Cal Poly but I'll worry about that after we find out what the transfer portal will do to us...
