Hopefully the vacation setting does not cause a slow start that may give Hawaii a sense they can win. They have a lot on the line and should play above their heads a bit.

If the back row can pass consistently and keep LBSU in system more often then not I expect a win tonight. If the passing goes sideways its anyones match. I guess that goes for every match lol. Hawaii would like to win ugly or anyway they can.

Hawaii is young overall in experience but their middles are more talented than their outsides, excluding one pin hitter. LBSU's middles need to take care of things defensively and let the pins do their thing, hopefully Hamaker can keep playing well because that could be a big difference maker.

I would rather play UCI than Hawaii in the first round because I have seen enough of Hawaii over the years. Time for the other program to take over.

frankly not a lot other than pride in the larger scheme of things

if this was a NFL or NBA match, Mad Max & Agi would not even see the floor and probably would not even have flown to Hawaii. it would be a classic load management match

If Beach wins, get the #3 seed and get to likely play Hawaii again next week, although not ruling out a UCI win over Cal Poly, since Cal Poly has it's own load management match vs. Irvine. Poly is locked into a #2 seed regardless of what happens. no way Davis loses to Bakersfield

If Beach loses, plays #5 Northridge. since Northridge is the only team Beach has not beat, kinda would like to play and beat NOrth in the quarters

If Beach wins well would be nice to take out Hawaii and then do it again next week

will be interested how the coaches approach cause it's not the NFL or NBA lol
