I hope the team can clean a few things up and have the right mind set going into Poly and UCSB. Both will be tough matches but winnable with Poly probably the tougher of the two.
If LBSU could sweep the road trip their home match with Davis will be a great one since the regular season championship could be on the line.
Need both the coaches and players to have their best week of practice going into the weekend.

I was surprised to see Anabel's stats
she's at 0.984 receiving which surprised me especically as she mishandled some serves of which those all occured 2nd and 3rd set, especially Napolean's hard serves that one run. 1st set Anabel was lights out passing.
for being the Big West's leading blocking team, IRvine left of middles alone and paid the price. Mad Max had great sets and slides to our middles aside from one Thomas attack taht sailed long, Sheffie and Thomas look light years better than the first couple weeks of the season. their improvement has been remarkable when there was a big question mark of how they would contribute. UCI was clearly targeting Anabel with their serves, last night. She responded well, for the most part. I'm not sure what the issue is with Agi. But, Pola, who is also not playing, had one hand heavily bandaged. Looks like she may have broken a finger, or two.
Good win for the team, and they played better than they did Friday, at Fullerton. Fortunately, they didn't need to play that well to beat the Titans. Previous Message
UCI came in on a bit of a high with 3 straight wins
our serving kept their setter off the net for much of the night. interesting we never reseorted to soft/short serves since the hard floats and Hamaker's jump serve applied the pressure.
2nd and 3rd set we struggled for some runs with mistakes and receiving lapses. Agi can be the glue back there as she changes opponents serving.
next week is huge. the matches will sort out the #2-#4 seeds as Davis is pretty locked in to #1, or #2 only if Beach can sweep the road trip.
both Poly & SB are telented, and beatable. both can have similar receiving lapses.
it's not like Poly or SB are better receiving teams.
