for whatever reason King was on fire and just could not get her more balls
Mad Maxi is kind of treading water, there's a lot for her to learn, Reagan has the team playing hybrid 5-1, with some 6-2 type offense (where King goes out, yikes).
5th sets can be resets, and I do question why you would start that 5th set with trying to do a dink serve from Mad Max. that's not her best serve. that error and then the ace, and never recovered.
just not converting enough points and to me Mad Max still is learning what a good dump/attacks are
as Big West play goes on these coaches even though it is Big West, scout and prepare and they'll find a weakness.
Northridge's coach def knows VB, it seemed (to me) like their libero knew where every one of our serves was going the first two sets, and they were getting great attacks due to their receiving
5th set just so many errors.
not an unexpected loss, team has to learn for the next 5 games, especially the Poly/SB trip if they want to get a top 2 seed.
Davis can win a NCAA match, the way they are playing. Maybe even a 2nd round match depending on who theywould play

CSUN looked so good and we looked so bad in the first two sets, that I assumed it was going to be a sweep and turned the game off. They went 5 sets so they apparently played better in sets 3 and 4. CSUN looks like a well coached team. Proves coaching and development is as inportant as pedigree and reputation. King played well but Agi has not come close to her level of play in 2023. She still has a good all around game, but has lost a lot of explosiveness. I guess that's what serious injuries can do to an athlete.
