my gut says that before December, people are gonna be calling for Acker's head lol. may not even take that long. there were people clamoring last year before the schedule was like 4 weeks old last year
just have zero expectations in this era.
my hope is the team members all return next year regardless of how we do, would just like to see some continuity, lol.
the era of zero expectations now. Previous Message
I think we'll go anywhere from 2-10 to 7-5 in non-confernece
It is not a tough schedule. Iowa State & SDSU are the only very high probable losses.
one can dream. all the other games should be able to compete albeit we are likely to get rolled pretty bad in a couple others Previous Message
I think they'll go 4-8 in non-conference, with wins over Nobel, USD, Pepperdine, and Lincoln. They will lose to UOP but that has some interesting story lines. Wainright will likely start for UOP. I noticed they also have Rochelin, who committed to the Niners last year, then took some last minute NIL from UCSD and escaped to San Diego. Previous Message
wow, first time really looking at this roster
the turnover now in rosters I guess have to laugh a bit
pretty sure we'll finish somewhere between 1 & 11, after looking at the bios
more interested to see how Acker grows as a coach, season 1 to season 2 maybe the biggest indicator to see if Acker has learned and grown
god forbid I watch the first couple of games and see guys handing off the ball 2 to 3 times every possession BEYOND the perimeter, lol. I just can't stomach the lack of spacing we had last year and how 'muddled' the offense seemed to flow
modern game though, and if you don't have two guys that can beat their man off the dribble, well then you are in a tough spot.
glad to see DMX back, guy had upside, doesn't need to touch the ball much IMO to impact the game, I think he could be really good impact guy on D and clean up underneath on offense.
again, do we try and run SDSU's scheme again without SDSU's muscle players? please tell me no!
will Acker have a muzzle on in games, teach in practice then hopefully they've learned for the games
will see the Fresno game, should be about 1300 people between Fresno's struggles and our own. MVB playing a fall tourney in Fresno wth Stanford and Pepperdine, that's interesting, too bad it's not on the same weekend. Knipe always growing the game. George's Grill on Blackstone, Tark would go there, great kabobs! worth the trip.
MBB will be interesting for sure. have no clue what to expect
