The experience factor is a big plus for Davis. The youngsters from LBSU, and that includes the senior middles that do not have much match experience, will need to stay focused and not fall into the trend of giving up big runs. The team has improved on that but UCD can put points together if they are in system. The team will need some stellar back row play from the freshman liberos and hopefully Laurel will be back in the lineup to shore things up. Should be a good one that nobody will see.

their two middles (the 'Allie's) are good.

Jade Light is a prolific hitter, top spin serve, but would not say a high percentage hitter, she's tall not a big jumper though

have to win serve-receive, duh. but especially with those two middles cause they are almost automatic

their strength is their defense so is ours so this should be a big battle, if anything Beach needs to win on tempo and service pressure

Davis last year in the Big West and their coach, upperclassman, they are a really motivated group.

would be great to win this, whoever wins is going to 2 games up on all other teams and 3 games up on a lot of teams in the loss column

Davis is unbeaten at home. Beach is unbeaten on the road!

pretty sad this is not being streamed, and just a long haul to go to Davis, hopefully the school gets some Norcal fan there, even with that brutal 11 am start. just a real head scratcher for a marque match like this and the logistics of this match

Tomorrow the ladies will have a very tough match vs a good UCD team on the road. These two are the only remaining undefeated teams, during conference play, so sole position of 1st place is on the line.

UCD has played a pretty good schedule this season with only 4 losses all to top 50 type programs. LBSU has also played a good schedule with one bad loss to Portland State. Their other 3 losses were to top 26 Massey rated teams. LBSU has 5 wins against the top 100 while UCD has 2.

This should be a good match by two quality teams with 1st place on the line. Too bad the match will not be televised by UCD since they have a hoe football game that takes priority.
