made me chuckle the "coined the Go Beach" part of the obit kind of giving the impression Maxson started it

well, he did use it and market it. but jeez, remember saying Go Beach back at the Long Beach Arena in 1983+ , Go Beach had been around for eons

so I hope when I pass, my obit says I initiated the "Go Beach" slogan

anyway sad to hear, the contrast in leadership from that mid 90s to the 2017-2025 period is striking.
